Andronica, a European Princess
A film initiative dedicated to Andronica Castriota, a symbol of the ties between Albania, Italy, the Balkans and Europe.
The project brings together cinema, historical research and international cooperation to tell the story of Andronica Castriota and to build a shared memory between the two shores of the Adriatic.
The film premiered in Lecce in December 2025, in partnership with Pro Loco Lecce APS and with the support of the Regional Council of Puglia, involving communities, institutions and the local public.
The initiative will continue with new screenings, public meetings and educational activities for schools and universities, bringing young people closer to the history of the relationship between Italy, Albania and Europe.
