The “Hasan Prishtina” Cultural Centre in Vushtrri hosted a special evening dedicated to literature, history and the promotion of Albanian cultural heritage, bringing together art, memory and identity through a rich programme for the local community.

During the event, the book “Forca e Heshtur” – “The Silent Strength” by Iris Balli Hajdinaj, an Albanian writer based in Greece, was presented to the public. The work offers meaningful reflections and messages for Albanian readers, addressing themes connected to inner strength, identity and the human experience.

The evening continued with the screening of the documentary “Një Princeshë Europiane” – “A European Princess”, produced on the basis of the monograph dedicated to Donika and Gjon Kastrioti. The documentary, which has already received positive recognition and has been presented successfully in several countries, brought to the audience a historical account of important figures connected to Albania’s cultural and national heritage.

The event was also attended by Lindita Ngresi, President of MILOSAO – Popoli e Culture, who contributed to the production of the documentary. Her participation highlighted MILOSAO’s commitment to promoting Albanian history, culture and identity through initiatives capable of building bridges between communities, territories and generations.

Representatives of the local institutions underlined the importance of such cultural events, which strengthen Vushtrri’s role as a significant centre for artistic and cultural activities while creating valuable opportunities to promote literature, historical memory and national identity.

The evening represented an important occasion for dialogue and cultural exchange, once again demonstrating how books, documentary cinema and historical research can contribute to preserving and transmitting Albanian cultural heritage to future generations.
